A qualitative research design employing thematic analysis was used. Participants consisted of 15 female school counselors working in upper secondary schools in Rumeshkan County during the 2024–2025 academic year, selected through purposive and snowball sampling. Data were collected via semi-structured interviews and analyzed using Attride-Stirling’s thematic network approach. Trustworthiness was ensured through credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability criteria. Data analysis yielded 300 basic themes, 66 organizing themes, and 13 global themes. The global themes included negative impacts on identity and culture, addiction and dependency on virtual space, low-quality digital content, reduced academic motivation, psychological and social problems, changes in social relationships, weakened student–teacher communication skills, diminished self-confidence, sleep and concentration disturbances, negative social behaviors, erosion of respect and social norms, tension between freedom and control, and the prevalence of superficial online relationships. The findings indicate that socio-cultural harms of virtual space constitute a multidimensional and interconnected phenomenon that affects students’ identity formation, psychological well-being, academic engagement, and social interactions, underscoring the need for integrated educational, counseling, and family-based interventions. هدف این پژوهش واکاوی و تبیین تجربه‌زیسته مشاوران مدارس دوره دوم متوسطه از آسیب‌های فرهنگی–اجتماعی ناشی از فضای مجازی در میان دانش‌آموزان است. پژوهش حاضر با رویکرد کیفی و با استفاده از روش تحلیل مضمون انجام شد. مشارکت‌کنندگان شامل 15 نفر از مشاوران مدارس دخترانه دوره دوم متوسطه شهرستان رومشکان در سال تحصیلی 1404–1403 بودند که به‌صورت هدفمند و با روش گلوله‌برفی انتخاب شدند. داده‌ها از طریق مصاحبه‌های نیمه‌ساختاریافته گردآوری و با بهره‌گیری از رویکرد شبکه مضامین آتراید–استرلینگ تحلیل گردید. برای اطمینان از اعتبار داده‌ها، معیارهای اعتبارپذیری، انتقال‌پذیری، قابلیت اطمینان و تأییدپذیری به‌کار گرفته شد. تحلیل داده‌ها منجر به استخراج 300 مضمون پایه، 66 مضمون سازمان‌دهنده و 13 مضمون فراگیر شد. مضامین فراگیر شامل تأثیرات منفی بر هویت و فرهنگ، اعتیاد و وابستگی به فضای مجازی، محتوای بی‌کیفیت، کاهش انگیزه تحصیلی، مشکلات روانی و اجتماعی، تغییر در روابط اجتماعی، ضعف مهارت‌های ارتباطی دانش‌آموز–معلم، کاهش اعتمادبه‌نفس، اختلال خواب و تمرکز، تضعیف رفتارهای اجتماعی، زوال احترام و آداب اجتماعی، تناقض میان آزادی و کنترل، و شکل‌گیری روابط سطحی در فضای مجازی بود. یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد آسیب‌های فرهنگی–اجتماعی فضای مجازی ماهیتی چندبعدی و زنجیره‌ای دارند و از سطح هویت فردی آغاز شده و تا عملکرد تحصیلی و روابط اجتماعی دانش‌آموزان گسترش می‌یابند؛ ازاین‌رو، طراحی مداخلات آموزشی، مشاوره‌ای و خانواده‌محور برای مدیریت این آسیب‌ها ضروری است.
